If your nation plans to register a dialling code at OOC, please consider the following:

The dialling code depends on the position on the UVNO map project. Exceptions from this because of special wishes or other circumstances will not be made. Indeed there exist some exceptions, but these have been made before there were those rules.

So you should take a look on this:

• Nations on the northern continent shall have dialling codes beginning with 1 or 2.
• Nations within the oceanic sector shall have dialling codes beginning with 4.
• Nations on the southern continents shall have dialling codes beginning with 3 or 5.
• French speaking nations shall have dialling codes beginning with 8.
• Nations which are sure of never taking part on the UVNO map project shall have dialling codes beginning with 9.

Please check the list of available dialling codes before you make a request in order to avoid requests for still registered dialling codes.
